The Dame Vera Lynn Trust for Children with Cerebral Palsy is based at Ingfield Manor School, Five Oaks near Billingshurst. It provides a specialist service for families of young children under the age of five with cerebral palsy and other motor learning disabilities. Parents and children learn daily living skills together at the School for Parents using the principles of Conductive Education.

A highly skilled and professional team helps parents to recognise a child's unique qualities and achievements. Every day is an exciting experience and parents can talk openly to each other about their child's activities, sharing an understanding of each other's situation.

The emphasis on School for Parents is to provide strong practical support for all parents who have children with special needs within a mutually sympathetic and encouraging environment.

All the services offered are provided free of charge. No statutory funding is received and the Charity relies entirely on the support of the community to raise the £660,000 needed this year to ensure that this vital and much needed service can continue.

The Natural Skincare Company is based about one mile away from the Trust and our founder, Amanda McGillivray, visited the Charity to see how we could help.  She was very touched with the warmth, dedication and professionalism of the staff at this locally based charity.
