I bought this alongside the suntan lotion, (which I was delighted with) and I was very disappointed.
I never get bitten, its always my husband, but I was bitten on the first day and had to resort to the deet spray that I had also taken with me.
I sprayed the rest of the family with it, but I used the cream and I was the only one that was bitten!!! Very sorry its a bit negative but you ought to know my experience.

REPLY from Amanda: It sounds to me like you definitely needed the extra strength of the insect repellent spray. The moisturiser is not as strong and therefore will not be as effective. I tend to suggest that these two products are used together for best effect! The Moisturiser is great in its own right - as a moisturiser - but with the added benefit of the insect repelling ingredients, so maybe we should ask the suppliers to change the name to Moisturizing Lotion with insect repellent! Thanks for the feedback, we will definitely pass this on!

This product smelt wonderful, was easy to apply and moisturized well. Unfortunately for me it did'nt keep the mosquito's away.

REPLY from Amanda: Many thanks for your feed back Sandra. If you are really prone to insect bites, its probably best to use the Insect Repellent Spray instead which is more concentrated. The insect repellent moisturiser is a fairly new product with us, and so we are keen to get this type of feedback. However, for those who do not like the intensity of the spray the moisturiser is probably a good compromise. I would be tempted to use both in the evenings however which would give the best protection.

Don't forget the lovely After Bite Spray from Caribbean Blue. Its really good at dealing with itchy bites and they also heal very quickly and stops the itching almost immediately.
