This is a really nice cream for dry skin. When I first looked at it, I thought it was going to be too thick. It is thick but it absorbs really nicely and is fantastic for wind-chapped skin! My only problem with it is it has quite a strong smell. I use a lot of Paul Penders products so I was surprised about that. It's not unpleasant (I've tried creams that I was told smelled like wet dog before - its nothing like that!!) it's floral - but still strong. (Posted on 11/10/12)

I had been suffering from eczema and allergic dermatitis for some weeks, and was hoping that this would soothe my skin -but I think it must be the retinol in it, it actually made my skin really red and inflamed, worse than before.

Amanda is so helpful, and the websit is beautiful and easy to use. I'm probably an extreme case, and not representative!

REPLY from Amanda: From your review of the Lip Gloss I think you do have specific allergy and skin problems and this can sometimes be very difficult to treat. The Dry Skin Relief is not designed for eczema although does work very well for most dry skin problems. I think I may have recommended that you try the ES Products Skin Re-covery Cream. This has been trialled and we have case studies which show that it does help ezcema and indeed my daughter (aged 14) has told me that it is the only cream I have given her to test on her eczema that works. Very good product! I bought it to use on my body as I did not realised it is actually a face cream, and when I received it I decided to use it on my face because it is too good to use all over my body, and the pot would not last very long at all if I was to do so. My face skin was not very dry, not even dry, when I started to use the cream, but I found it doesn't matter as I just need to use a very small quantity and with its lovely texture it is very easy to spread all over my face, plus it is easily absorbed, and does not leave me with an oily skin (which was my initial worry when I decided to use the cream on my face rather than body).
I have put it on my hands a cople of time as they were very dry after using a very cheap hand washing product and the cream did well here too. Also the price is very good. I would love it if I could buy that cream in a bigger pot (at good price) so I can use it all over my body where I need it more than on my face!
