I'm new to the Paul Penders range and I can honestly say I'm delighted with this product. I never realised how oily my skin was until using this product and having used this product for only a few days, the difference and improvement to my skin has been immediate.

I love the tightening of the skin upon application of the gel and the softer skin feeling that follows. This is good quality product and as I use the Paul Penders Cleansing Wash & Toner as well - I feel like Im giving my skin a good cleansing regime every time I use the Paul Penders products.
A 4* rating opposed to a 5* as I use this as a Night moisturiser rather than a 24 hr so unable to comment on its 24 hr capability but Im sure other reviews will cover this.

I gave the product 3 stars because it worked better on my skin in London than in the Caribbean. It starts of very tight and it gradually relaxes, the tightness gives my face a shiny appearance, but my skin feels soft and the gel consistency of the product is cool. (Posted on 7/5/11)

this is a great product for oily/combination skin. it keeps the skin comfortable the whole day. i find it starts a little tight on my face but then only after a few minutes starts to feel comfortable. (Posted on 8/27/10)

I think I chose the wrong one here. I would have said I had an oily-normal combination skin, but I think I should have chosen the one for a dry skin because, although this product smells great and is pleasant to use and goes a very long way, it leaves my skin feeling tight.

The Juniper and Yarrow Moisturiser is a slightly unusual product which is a gel consistancy and is really for combination/oily skin rather than normal skin. It is currently in the section Normal/Combination skin because some people with combination skin do find its ok for them and it is certainly very popular for oily skin types! However, your comments have made me think it may be better to take it completely out of the Normal/Combination Skin category and just put it into the Oily Skin catagory. I would definitely suggest you try using the Aloe & Lavender AM Moisturiser for your mature skin as this is a lovely light easily absorbed cream which I think you will find suitable. This is a really unusual moisturiser in that it has a jelly like consistancy rather than a creamy one. Its quite cooling and is not too rich for my oily skin. I dont usually use a moisturiser but thought I would try this one and I am pleased I did. I would not recommend it for any skin apart from oily or combination. My skin has improved since using it so I will be buying again!

The packaging is shortly being changed and the gel will be in a tube rather than a pot and it will now have the description 'for combination/oily skin' on the label/box.
