This product is fantastic. I have slightly dry skin so I use it during the day and it blends in perfectly - does not feel greasy at all - and keeps my skin hydrated all day. My skin is easily irritated and has definitely improved since using this product. It smells lovely too. A slightly cheaper price would be helpful (I probably use more than most people due to my skin being dry) but I highly recommend it.

This is one of my favourites too - to cut down on the amount you use try using one of the Paul P:enders serums underneath the moisturiser - it will make it go much much further (although only a small amount is usually needed anyway!). For your dry skin I would suggest the Ceramide Lipo ACE Skin Recovery. You only need the tiniest drop and your skin will feel really soft and silky - try applying just a tiny petit pois sized drop of the moisturiser on top. (Posted on 5/11/12)

Nice texture, only need a small amount, penetrate well, and moisturise well. Very good cream, the packaging isn't that great though. Its hard to get the right amount out of it.

I was actually really disappointed in this product for a couple of reasons. The tube is tiny for the price and the product itself just wasn't moisturising enough for me, to cap it all I really didn't like the smell of the cream. I don't suffer from eczema any more after discovering I had an allergy to parabens, but my skin is still very dry so I bought this product after reading rave reviews about it, even though it was more than I would normally spend on a cream, I thought it might be worth a try. Very disappointed...

As you say, we do have lots of really happy customers, but as in all things in life, not everything is right for everyone. I would like to comment on a couple of the points made in review however:

1. The size of the tube is 40g. This is about average for a skin cream, BUT the difference with the Paul Penders tubes is that there is no additional packaging in the tube to bulk out the product - just a simple tube and nothing else. Many products package very cleverly and have inner sleeves which make it appear as if there is more product.

2. Quantity does not mean quality. Only a very small amount (pea sized) is needed. This amount should be applied twice a day and if your skin is demanding more, then we recommend you use the Ceramide Recovery Lipo ACE underneath the moisturiser. This Lipo is my personal miracle product! It works wonders used with a moisturiser and can be used on its own on very dry areas too.

3. The aroma is very understated on this range. The reasoning behind this is because there are many people who find a strong smell in a cream can irritate or even lead to headaches.

I only used the sample size but it was really amazing. I woke up with a lovely glow every morning and my skin didn't feel dry at all. Whilst I was using this moisturiser, I also noticed my breakouts lessened, especially during that time of the month. I would break out alot then but it really helped keep everything balanced. Every other moisturiser I've used usually would break me out with tiny spots, but my skin felt really good whilst I was using this. I'll be ordering the full size soon! (Posted on 4/8/11)

This moisturiser has a really strong herbal smell so I was a bit worried in case it would irritate my skin but it has been fine - I have been using the product for a month now. It is a bit more creamy than the AM moisturiser which is good because my skin can soak up all that goodness while I sleep. I've been buying the Avocado & Cranberry Moisturiser, the toner and the Paul Penders cleansing milk for a long time now and I have to say the skin care range is amazing! For years i struggled to find the right products, and Debenhams has had some cracking business from me before I discovered Paul Penders!! My skin has been transformed since i started using it, and i'm soo pleased, as it was getting to the point where it was getting me down as my skin looked awful! Now it just looks radiant! I am going to recommend your range to my mum now as she will be 60 years old this year and she has been fortunate enough in life to mainly only use Nivea on her skin but it is now getting dry and lacking lustre and she is getting small eczema break outs - I am going to get some samples for her to try and I am sure she will be converted! If you are able to reply to this, what would you advise my mum to try? I think she may need the same products which I use?

I agree with you that she should try the Avocado & Cranberry Moisturiser and the Chamomile & Moringa Toner and of course the Rosemary & Calendula Cleansing Milk. But in addition, because of her ezcema and age she would really benefit from using the Ceramide Recovery Lipo ACE. REPLY from Amanda: This is a rich cream, Sanna, and for your combination skin you would probably be best trying the Aloe & Lavender Moisturiser for the cheek and dryer areas, and then perhaps even the Juniper and Yarrow 24 hr. moisturiser for the combination area if that area is slightly oily. The Juniper and Yarrow Moisturiser is really good for oily skin but best not used on the dry areas.
