Trim-right® Ingredients - How they work;

Guarana - The guarana berry is a South American fruit that is believed to be a natural appetite suppressant. This berry is traditionally thought to boost energy and increase mental alertness as a result of its high caffeine content. 

Capsicum - Capsicum Extract, can act as an appetite suppressor and also raise the metabolic rate, burn excess calories, reduce body mass and reduce body fat. Many of the clinical tests suggest that capsicum raises the metabolic rate and is effective in burning the bodies fat. This has many implications for people with obesity problems. Early indications also show that capsicum slows the absorption of fat in the small intestine. According to a study conducted by the Department of Human Biology at Maastricht University in the Netherlands, capsaicin was able to improve weight loss results when compared to a placebo.

Apple cider Vinegar - The nutrients, enzymes, and organic acids in apple cider vinegar supports weight reduction by; acting as an appetite suppressant, increasing the body's metabolic rate, reducing water retention, thus helping, you maintain a feeling of well being. A report in the European Journal of Clinical Nutrition showed that not only does Apple Cider Vinegar help to control blood sugar and insulin levels following a carbohydrate-rich meal, it also helps to create a feeling of fullness. (called satiation).

Green Tea Extract - It has been know for centuries that Green Tea has natural benefits. The Green Tea extract in Trim-right®, contains polyphenols and catechins, the most important of them being epigallocatechin gallate or EGCG. A study in the European Journal of Clinical Nutrition by Thielecke and others suggested that EGCG might also prevent the development of fat cells and reduce absorption of fats while increasing utilization of fat for energy production. The study demonstrated that a low dose EGCG, could cause a 33% increase in fat oxidation during the two hours after a meal. A combination of EGCG and caffeine, as found in green tea extract, caused greater increase in fat burning. While other trials have also shown that there is a reduction of body fat with green tea extract and its catechin content, Dullo and others found that it actually boosts metabolism by about 4%.

The green tea extract used in Trim-right® is the highest grade with 95% polyphenols and 40% catechins, meaning it is high in antioxidants. Antioxidants have been suggested to be protective against coronary heart disease and cancer.

L-theanine  - Research shows that L-theanine neutralizes the speedy, jagged, bad effects of caffeine without reducing its mind-energizing, fat-burning features.

Added benefits of combined ingredients:

Individuals can be sensitive to headaches when taking caffeine alone, but by combining the guarana with L-theanine this helps to counteract these effects by reducing mental and physical stress. It is able to work synergistically with caffeine to improve mood.

Combining guarana with capsicum and green tea can further increase the benefits. One study showed that combining capsicum and green tea helped to reduce energy intake by suppressing appetite and increasing satiety (feeling of fullness). A study in the British Journal of Nutrition highlighted the effects of red pepper and caffeine consumption on the energy balance in male subjects. The results indicated that red pepper and caffeine consumption reduced ad libitum energy intake and increased energy expenditure.

Apple cider vinegar helps to control insulin levels and keep blood sugar levels stable after eating a carbohydrate rich meal, therefore suppressing the appetite. Stable blood sugars will also help increase satiety and help reduce food cravings. Apple cider vinegar is also rich in many vitamins and minerals, therefore contributing towards a healthy diet.
