Alvin Connor Crystal Deodorant Bodysticks work by preventing the build up of odour causing bacteria. Body and foot odour is a result of perspiration / sweat coming into contact with bacteria on your skin. By eliminating this bacteria or preventing this bacteria from forming you eliminate body odour.
The crystal leaves an invisible shield of minerals, which stay on the skin and prevent the formation of bacteria that cause the unpleasant odour, associated with perspiration. It lets your skin breath and does not inhibit normal perspiration.
The crystal can be used for not only underarm odour, but also for control of foot odour. Ideally suited for people with sensitive skin.
Moisten your crystal and gently apply, after bath or shower. Do not leave your crystal wet, as it is water-soluble.
The crystal is a solid mineral stone and does not contain sticky oils, greasy gels, silicone waxes or fragrances, which gum and block the lymph glands. It does not contain Aluminium Clorohydrates and has no animal products. It is 100% natural.

Rating I think i might need little advice on how to use this deodorant as so far i haven't achieved too good results. the stick is hard and i don't want to press too hard, and even when i make it wet under the tap i am still not getting much of a result.
REPLY from Amanda: Crystal deodorant sticks do take a little getting used to. All you need to do is to wet the stick under the tap and apply - you do not have to rub hard, as the mineral will dissolve slightly in the water and rub onto your skin. You can usually feel a slight layer on the skin. Remember a deodorant is not the same as an anti-perspirant and will not block your sweat glands - you will still perspire but it will take away any unpleasant odour! They are not really designed for heavy sweating, for instance if you go to the gym, either, but a shower and re-application in this case is what I would recommend. (Posted on 5/13/12) -

Rating I'm skeptic and cynic, sure, but what kind of attitude do they expect from me while showing all those commercials on TV? Deodorants do not eliminate odor, they just add super-powerful smell of their own! The very idea of masking body sweat by overpowering chemical smell sounds awful to me.
So, when I was ordering 2 sticks of Alvin Connor Crystal Deodorant I thought "it's not spray, thanks God". Now I can't remember whether it was 2010 or 2009 when I placed the order, but I'm still using first of the two sticks (it's gradually going to finish, but still). No smell. Something so simple.

Rating At last I have found a deodorant that actually works, and it's 'natural' too, so that's even better. I suffer from excess sweating, which obviously after a while can give a strong smell of BO if the deodorant doesn't work. I have tried many products, natural and off the shelves from the supermarket, and this one certainly does the job. I've tested it in France in temperatures of over 35 degrees. It's incredibly good value for money as it lasts for ages and ages. I'm certainly sticking to this one for the time being! (Posted on 7/7/11)

Lymphatic System: Our lymphatic system performs a major function in the body and is essential to good health. Our lymph glands are located in various areas around the body and assist us in expelling toxins and free radicals that could otherwise damage us on a cellular level.
The lymph nodes (which generally occur in clusters in the neck, armpits, and groin) produce some white blood cells and antibodies that help protect against infection. When the major glands are worked effectively it creates an environment where perspiration is broken down by bacteria which is forming on the skin.
