The best natural matte foundation Review by Carol

I've been looking for a while for a good matte foundation that would also be natural as I have very sensitive skin. Most notably, I tried Clinique and Bare Minerals but the first just looked like a powdery mask on my skin, the second one gives me spots after just one day of wearing :(.

I took my time before writing this review and after a month of using Paul Penders Foundation (Sweet Amber) every day, I can say that I'm in love.
It's very light but gives fantastic, natural looking coverage, evens out skin tone, covers imperfections and most importantly - keeps that nasty shine away. Of course, after a whole long day of wearing, the T-zone will eventually get oily but a clean tissue always helps and the amazing thing is that the makeup doesn't show on the tissue too much, magic?
Ah, did I say that I don't have any problems with spots while using it?

The package looks tiny when you initially see it but you really need much less than normal liquid foundation. This one is creamy and you only need a tiny bit (super quick when you apply with a foundation brush). I also bought PP AM Moisturizer and it works like a dream along the PP Hydrating Control Serum.

PS. Amanda was a great help when choosing the product and colour, I'll be definitely coming back for more!

This is an excellent foundation, the sand colour was very good and the foundation blended in well. I had previously bought this foundation in ivory but found that it did not blend at all so I will stay with the sand in future. Also no skin irritations which is a great bonus. (Posted on 1/2/13)

A tiny drop is all you need for full face coverage. Leaves my skin looking glowing all day. This is the best foundation I have found. (Posted on 8/13/12)
