Propolis & Echinacea (without flouride): Lavera basis sensitive toothpaste with propolis and echinacea extract helps to maintain the health of our teeth. Calcium carbonate and silicic acid ensure thorough removal of plaque. Regular brushing of the teeth removes bacterial plaque, which is mainly responsible for caries, paradentosis and tartar. With sea salt and minerals, in addition to extracts of arnica, myrrh and yarrow, this toothpaste ensures a healthy bacterial flora in the mouth. The pH value (7.0) of the toothpaste neutralises acid which damage the teeth and may attack dental enamel.

Mint (with flouride): This toothpaste offers protection from tooth decay, naturally white teeth and mint-fresh breath in one product. The special Lavera recipe with sea salt cleans the teeth intensively yet carefully. Plaque and tartar are removed, while retaining the natural dentine. Effective sodium fluoride activates protection in seconds and provides all-round prevention of tooth decay. Plant extracts from echinacea and arnica protect the gums and oral flora. When used regularly mint toothpaste helps to restore the natural whiteness of your teeth. The biological tooth-whitening formula with microparticles gently dissolves stains and achieves a visible improvement. Refreshing minty aromas give an extra fresh taste and pure mint-fresh breath.

Kids - Strawberry/Raspberry (without flouride): For beginners & during homeopathic treatment and with organic calendula as well as kids! With regular brushing, natural silicic acid cleaning particles remove plaque, which is chiefly responsible for tooth decay. The milk teeth receive healthy protection and serve as an ideal basis for the permanent teeth. basis sensitiv Kid’s Tooth Gel is intentionally free from surfactants (foaming agents) and fluorides, since children often learn to clean their teeth by swallowing some toothpaste. Pure plant essences of melissa and calendula retain the biological balance of the oral flora. The natural flavour from strawberries and raspberries is a taste that children love and makes cleaning their teeth fun. The tooth gel provides specially adapted dental care for children under homeopathic treatment, since the formula is free from ingredients which could interfere during treatment.
How to use: Only a pea sized amount is necessary for everry day brushing.

Usually natural toothpastes taste horrible and don't foam at all. They just fell as if they are not effective enough, but I keep on trying different brands as I refuse to use the maistream. WIth Lavera's toothpaste I was completely satisfied as it feels lik eyour using a 'normal' toothpaste and it tastes great! (Posted on 7/26/11)

Great alternative to chemical toothpastes Review by Katarina

I am so thrilled I found this product! I bought toothpaste from the Green People (not sure if I am allowed to use another company's name in the review?), which was also organic and chemical free but I never had the feeling my teeth were clean after brushing them with their toothpaste (it had chalk in it?). This toothpaste is great & leaves my teeth feeling clean. It even foams a little even though there is no SLS in it. I will be definitely buying more and may I say that is it very reasonably priced too - the cheapest I could find on the net. Thank you!
