Caribbean Blue Sunscreen SPF8 - 120ml
NON Nano formulation. Caribbean Blue SPF8 is a unique 100% all-natural sunscreen formula. Instead of synthetic chemical ingredients, it contains natural zinc oxide. Formulated in a natural base of tropical oils, botanical extracts, and anti-oxidant vitamins, the result is a completely natural formula that protects, moisturizes and soothes the skin.
All-Natural SPF8 is formulated using the latest scientific research findings and information on sun protection: UVB rays are mostly involved with sunburns, while the deeper penetrating UVA rays are involved with premature aging, wrinkling and even skin cancers. Many chemical sunscreens protect only from UVB rays, and allow penetration of damaging UVA rays. Zinc oxide is the only ingredient that is FDA-recognized as having both UVB and UVA broadest-spectrum protection, as well as having therapeutic benefits.
Reef Safe:
CaribbeanBlue®Naturals Sunscreen products are all natural-based using zinc oxide as the active ingredient-physical block. They are considered safe for marine life and reefs.
The chemical-based sunscreens that use chemical active ingredients are the ones that are usually associated with potential damage to reefs.

Bit disappointed Review by Triciad
Rating Received my sunscreen and was surprised at the size of the container for the price. Others had referred to the product as having a lovely smell unfortunately i do not agree with this feel it has a chemical smell. Will however see if the natural products in this product do what they say when I use this within the next few weeks.
REPLY from Amanda: So sorry to hear you were not initially happy with the product you ordered. The size of the product is listed on the product page and yes, they are fairly small bottles, however, zinc oxide is an expensive ingredient compared to the chemical sunscreens, and in addition, there are no unnecessary chemical fillers or additives to these products.
The aroma you smelled was lavender essential oil. We all perceive aromas in a different way, and personally, I love the smell of these suncare products! If you are not happy with your purchase, please contact us on 01403 790913. Kind regards, Amanda

Amazing tan with NO prickly heat rash. Review by lulu
Rating I never write reviews, but couldn't ignore this product. I tan easily but often suffer from prickly heat. I'm so glad I found this sun cream...I've just return from a week in Tunisia and have the best tan I've ever had! I had NO prickly heat..and because the water was still too cold for swimming I only needed to apply the cream in the morning and it lasted all day. All my friends and family are asking what I used to get such a dark tan...I'll never use another brand ever again : )
REPLY from Amanda: Thank you for this amazing review Lulu. Just wanted to mention though, Lula has said she has skin that tans easily. We would not recommend fairer skinned people to only apply once a day, and for Tunisia, would also recommend a sun protection factor of at least SPF15!! (Posted on 4/12/13)
General Information:
Many healthcare practitioners believe that a Sun Protection Factor of 15 (SPF 15) is basically all that is needed for overall protection from the sun. An SPF 15 blocks 93.3% of the sun’s UVB rays, while an SPF 30 blocks 96.7%. Therefore, the SPF 15 provides a level of maximal screening of the suns rays, and SPF values above this point give less and less added protection. However, having said this, there are times when a higher SPF factor can be useful - for instance, when it is impossible to keep certain areas of the body away from the sun's rays; such as the tip of the nose, the back of the neck and sometimes the shoulders. An SPF 25 lotion can be useful in these circumstances but we would always recommend that you keep out of the sun completely between the hours of 11.00 am and 3.00 pm. There is also a growing body of evidence to suggest that a little sunshine is good for your skin giving your body important amounts of Vitamin D which is difficult to get through a normal diet. As in most things in life, moderation is the key; only you know your own body, how it tans and how it reacts to the sun. However to help you, and for more information on SPF's, skin and sun, please read this article: Suncare Facts
